Data Methodology
PageBeacon analyzes publicly available Amazon marketplace data to provide insights for indie authors. Market data — including prices, ratings, BSR rankings, and category structures — is collected from public Amazon product pages.
All data is attributed with source and date. When data is unavailable for a category, we say so explicitly rather than fabricating numbers.
Editorial Standards
All market data is verified against real sources before publication. Our 5-gate quality system checks every page for word count, content quality, SEO compliance, data integrity, and uniqueness.
Pages that don't meet our quality threshold are held for manual review. Underperforming pages are automatically pruned.
